After finishing his PG from Symbiosis Institute of Media & Communication, Avijit Roy started his career as Asst Supervising Producer of Balaji Telefilm (Mumbai) in 2006 for Indian TV Chennel - Star Plus. After that he started working for verious other Indian TV Channels like Star One, ZEE, Colours as Associate Director for verious TV Showes like Mahavir Hanuman, Ram Milaye Jodi, Mano Ya Na Mano etc with verious Production House like Sagar Arts, Contiloe Entertainment, Cinema Vision India & etc. He started his first Hindi Feature film named as 'Jab Tum Kaho' under the banner of Kalptaru Films & Black Pearl Movies as an Associate Director. The Film 'Jab Tum Kaho' released in 26 February 2016. Beside this lots of AD Films for the various Brand like Complan, Oreo, Nestle Chocholate, Vodafone Zoozoo & etc. Made variouse Corporate Films for Airtel, Big Bazaar, Coal India, West Bengal Outdoor Media Association, Kiya, Deutsche Bank, Mumbai Indian for IPL & etc. He also have very keen interest on Editing also. As an editor he edited some prestigious film's promo like Ghajini, Dil Kabaddi, Luck etc.
